Hi !
I cannot offer a direct download due to Bandwidth constraints. As soon as i have enough videos, i plan to release an ISO over Bit Torrent.
Also, there should not be a problem with Firefox (i use it myself). Please check if you have the latest Flash plugin. Drop me a line if you still face a problem.
Regards,
Vivek |

| Well, I hope Vivek is not going to kill me for this, but there is a way to do that. I'm hoping you're using Linux because it's much easier that way. Basically you have to go to where the videos are, view the page source and look for the .swf files. You will see something like: "play_movie.swf?url=socket_programming_controller.swf". Now take that "socket_programming_controller.swf" and put it into the address bar after the last "/", replacing the html link. You'll end up with something like: "http://www.security-freak.net/sockets/socket_programming_controller.swf". Now just copy that and and use "wget" to download the file. Use a Flash player to play it. |

Hey, ashwathkp, they should be able to play in your browser as long as it has the Flash Player plug-in. And nowadays, it's hard to find a browser without the Flash Player plug-in. _________________ In The News: The next Intel processor will be able to finish an infinite loop in under 5 minutes. |

Well, I'm glad you found the right tool for the job, but I have been giving out the way to do it in a few posts above. What you were probably downloading is the controller, which is the file that loads the actual SWF file. Unless, when you remove "_controller" from the URL loads another SWF loader, it should be downloading the right file for you.
I, personally, never had to download these, so I didn't go through the entire process. However, I tried the URLs out in the browser and that is how I figured out how to download them. _________________ In The News: The next Intel processor will be able to finish an infinite loop in under 5 minutes. |

ashwathkp... glad to see you took the time to download all the videos. Perhaps, you should upload it to Rapidshare.com and provide the link to Bluepass, may be it could be used as a new thread / stickey for Vivek's Videos.

Yeah, I could definitely do that. It would help a lot for those who come in asking about making the clips available for download. _________________ In The News: The next Intel processor will be able to finish an infinite loop in under 5 minutes. |

to download while watching
- clear ur cache first through browser
-find the cache folder c:\documents and settings\username\...
- start the video
-a nw file wd be genrated by random name in this folder its size wd keep on increasing as the video goes
-when video finishes just rename this file as xyz.swf.
thats it!!! u got the video.
I find Orbit works well in I.E unlinke F.F where the size remains 176KB
